pay $850+ per month.
And there are barns you
can afford around $450 a month, but would your horse be getting their
required amount of quality hay
and quality grain to suit their needs?
And there are self-care
barns for around $300, but do you have time to go
there twice a day to feed
your horse and clean his stall?
You shouldn't have to sacrifice your horse's health and happiness because of
financial concerns....let us make it affordable for
you!
Starting 2010, we are now offering
the opportunity to Choose Your Own Board Rate!
We are offering 3 Boarding Packages to suit your personal financial situation
wtihout sacrificing your horse's needs!
HALF-BOARD: Our most
affordable option ever!! Full-board care for a self-care price!!
-$375/month, you supply your own feed
and hay.
-We will feed and clean
for you!
FULL-BOARD: The Most
Affordable Quality Full-Board in
-$650/month includes:
-top
quality TRIPLE CROWN grain 2-3 times daily,
-quality
hay 4-5 times per day!
-Also includes don and
doffing of winter blankets, and fly masks.
TRAINING-BOARD:
-$850/month includes:
-Daily grooming, bathing
as needed
-Top quality TRIPLE
CROWN grain twice daily (3X if needed)
-Quality hay 4-5 times per day!
-1 training ride or
lesson per week
-Also includes don and doffing of winter
blankets, fly masks, fly sheets/boots, and any medical treatments, wound care
or injury management.

OUR LESSON PROGRAM:
We offer lessons for all ages and
levels of riders ranging from beginners who are just starting to learn about
horses and their care, to novice riders wanting to improve their ridings skills, to intermediate/advanced riders wishing to
compete at horse shows. Here at TikiGator Farm, we believe learning about
equine healthcare is just as important as learning to ride. Your child
will not only learn riding skills and techniques, but they will also learn
about safety, equine anatomy, grooming, horse healthcare and nutrition. We currently offer private lessons (semi
private upon request, depending on the level of the riders) that are 45-60
minutes in length depending on the level of the rider, and what the rider is
learning that lesson day.
Hunter/Jumper instruction: If a student wishes to participate in
hunter/jumper instruction, they must commit to riding a minimum of twice a
week, whether that be two lessons per week, half
leasing, or owning their own horse.
Jumping fences requires muscle strength, stamina and endurance, which
can only be achieved by consistent riding.
Just like weight training, swimming, or running, the body needs to be
worked at least twice weekly to continue building strength and
endurance.
Private Lessons: Offered for all
ages of riders!

$55 Lessons run approx 45 minutes to an hour
depending on the level of rider.
Showing:
Showing is offered here at TikiGator
Farm, however, we do have requirements for horse show
participation. There is also a trailer
fee, as well as a daily trainer fee per show.
Fees vary depending on the travel distance, show length, and number of
students participating.
Beginner leadline and walk riders:
If a Beginner student wishes to take part in horse shows (leadline or
walk classes), they must commit to a minimum of one lesson per week.
Intermediate and Advanced riders:
If an Intermediate or Advanced student (walk/trot level and higher)
wishes to participate in horse shows, they must commit to either a minimum of
two lessons per week, a lease program, or own their own horse.
We take pride in our students representing Tikigator Farm at horse shows.
It's important, as in any sport, to practice on a consistent basis, to train
and strengthen muscles, and continue to learn riding skills and
techniques. The equestrian sport takes dedication and discipline for each
student to become an effective and successful rider.

OUR LEASE PROGRAM:
Every child dreams of having their own pony.
Parents, if you have a child that is a novice and is begging you
for their own pony,
these lease options were created for you and your
child.
Leasing is ideal for the parent or who wants to get their child a
pony
but really can’t afford the initial investment in
the pony nor the boarding, feed and vet bills.
Also, if the child loses interest, the parent can easily terminate
the lease without being left
with the obligation to continue paying for the
pony’s care
and the responsibility of selling the pony.
It is also ideal for the adult who wants
to be able to ride after work,
or after dropping the kids off at school, yet does
not have the finances
or time to put towards owning a horse of their
own.
Half Lease: $325/month
The half lease allows the rider to come ride 3 scheduled times
per week,
including one weekly lessons, and also gives them
the opportunity to come visit,
and groom their leased horse/pony whenever they
please (during barn hours).
The half lease includes full board services (feed, hay, stall
care, turnout, etc).
TikiGator Farm is responsible for vet, dentistry, and
farrier.
Tack for the leased horse is included in the fee.
Full Lease: $650/month
The full lease allows the rider to come ride 5 scheduled times
per week,
including one weekly lesson, and also gives them
the opportunity to come visit,
and groom their leased horse/pony whenever they
please (during barn hours).
The full lease includes full board services (feed, hay, stall
care, turnout, etc).
TikiGator Farm is responsible for vet, dentistry, and
farrier.
Tack for the leased horse is included in the fee.
*Barn rules and regulations apply. Lease agreement and
Liability release form must be signed prior to leasing any horse or pony.

SALES:
We take pride in offering quality
horses and ponies for sale here at TikiGator Farm.
There are many many horses for sale
out there, however it is often difficult to find “the
right horse”.
Many first-time horse owners are not
experienced enough to know what to look for and what to steer clear of.
Not every seller will disclose
issues that a horse has so it’s our job to go make sure
the horse is sound, healthy, sane, and
a good match for our client.
We take into consideration first and
foremost our client’s price range, riding discipline, level of riding,
and future goals to help find “the
right horse”.
We have extensive resources and
experience in searching sale horses online, speaking directly with the seller,
and accompanying you to inspect and try
your potential new horse.
If we find you a horse or assist you
in the purchase of a horse, we receive a flat fee of $150.
We also offer consignment at
TikiGator Farm.
If you have a horse you would like
to sell but do not have the resources
or contacts to help complete your sale
in a timely manner, we can consign your horse for you.
Send us photos and basic information
of your horse (age, breed, gender, height, registration, etc)
and let us know any specifics about
your horse such as their training level, any vices or issues they may
have, show experience, etc.
Your horse will get their own
webpage on our website and we will do our best to find a buyer for your
horse.
Your horse does not have to be
boarded here at TikiGator to be consigned, however if you live out of town,
or would like to bring your horse to
our farm for consignment which allows us freedom
to show your horse to clients and
potential buyers, boarding fees will apply.
If we find a buyer and sell your
horse we receive 10% of the purchase price, or $500, whichever is greater.

TRAINING:
We accept horses in training ranging
from unbroke youngsters to off-the-track thoroughbreds to older horses that
just need a tune-up.
Many young horses have been started
under saddle here at TikiGator farm,
as well as green horses that have been
trained for hunters, lower level dressage, and English pleasure.
Our rates are as follows:
Full Training: $500/month
We tailor each training program to
your horse’s specific needs and established training level.
If you are interested in enrolling
your horse in Full Training,
please contact us with specific information
about your horse,
and we will be happy to discuss you and
your horse’s needs and goals,
and create a training plan for your
horse.
Exercise Training: $25/ride
(min. 3 rides per week = $300/month,
4 rides per week = $400/month, etc)
Exercise Training includes horses
that just need light riding a few times per week due to injury recovery, horses
that have been out of work and just need a tune-up, or if the owner is going
out of town and needs their horse ridden while they are away.)
